4 ways to get involved in the UEFA EURO 2020 at home

4 ways to get involved in the UEFA EURO 2020 at home

The most important tournament of last year is finally upon us: the UEFA Euro 2020! This year the Euros will promise to be even more exciting because like everything else the competition was put on hold because of the pandemic. We all want to enjoy the games but still need to stay safe and UEFA has given us some great ways to get involved at home:

1. Tournament Predictor:

This is a great game where you can take on your friends from the comfort of your sofa! This game is all about picking the team that goes through to the next round. During the month you can predict each round all the way to the final and crown your overall Euro 2020 winner! The best bit is you can download your predictions as a shareable image to challenge your friends. Signing up is free and you can predict from the round of 16 to your EURO 2020 winner. Play here: https://gaming.uefa.com/en/uefaeuro2020tournamentpredictor

2. Match Predictor:

Match Predictor will give fans something extra to spice up every game. Earn points by guessing the right scorelines, first goalscorers and first teams to score. Play here: https://gaming.uefa.com/en/uefaeuro2020matchpredictor/predictions/19

3. Play games on your phone:

Besides Tournament Predictor, there are some other ways to play and predict this years matches and win prizes. Fantasy Football for example is a game where you can build your own team with a €100m “budget” for 15 players. You can choose your captains for each game, enter a team name and you are in. You’ll get double points whenever the captain scores a goal in the real game.

4. Watch online:
We all want to see what is actually going on and who will be the next champion. BBC and ITV are broadcasting all 51 matches in the tournament. You can also listen live on Radio 5. Get your snacks ready and watch with your family at home!

If you can move your TV outside you could enjoy the games safely with a few more friends and family. For full information on Coronavirus restrictions: what you can and cannot do see: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/covid-19-coronavirus-restrictions-what-you-can-and-cannot-do#may-whats-changed
