Wales teams will be running out in Nike kit from the start of the 2025/26 season, thanks to a groundbreaking multi-year partnership agreement between Basketball Wales (BW) and KitKing, Nike’s teamwear partner for Great Britain and Ireland.
“This is a hugely significant moment for Welsh basketball,” said Basketball Wales chairman Garmon Rhys.
“We have made great progress on and off the court over the past 18 months – and this fantastic partnership with KitKing and Nike is a further statement of intent. I’m sure our players and coaches will be thrilled to wear the iconic Nike swoosh.”
Basketball Wales will work with KitKing to design and develop the new range of clothing, which will cover training kit, playing kit and leisurewear.
“We’ll be inviting players and coaches to be part of the process,” said Basketball Wales Performance Director Phil Gordos. “It’s important we get their input, given they will be wearing the new kit.”
